Appointments
We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. We are closed for lunch from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. To serve you better and to keep wait times at a minimum, all patients are seen by appointment only.
When you have a sick child, we can usually see her on the same day but please call so we can work you in our schedule and give you an appointment to come in without having to wait at the clinic. Please allow for travel time and unforeseen incidents when coming for your appointments.
If you are going to miss your appointment or will be late, please call us so that we may accommodate other patients. Patients that are more than 15 minutes late may be rescheduled in order to provide more efficient service and care and to reduce everybody’s wait.
After hours, a physician is always available to handle urgent concerns and emergencies. Calls are first handled by Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center Pediatric Telephone Triage service which provides excellent advice on your child’s condition or situation. In cases where a physician is required to deal with the situation, Dr. Lopez or a doctor on call for her will be available to speak with you.
