JOSEPHINE TICSAY LOPEZ, MD, FAAP
Dr. Lopez graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine in 1990. She trained as a resident in pediatrics at the Medical College Georgia. After residency, she worked as pediatrician for MedLink Colbert, a private clinic that drew patients from a 10-county area including Athens. She also spent a brief stint with Jonesboro Pediatric Clinic in south Atlanta.
Dr. Lopez was adjunct faculty in Community Medicine at MCG. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Philippine American Medical Association of Georgia. Her medical experience includes ADHD, infectious diseases, asthma and obesity.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Lopez enjoys tennis, cooking, dancing and travel. She is married to Sherwin and together they have 3 kids, Joseph, Julia and Johann.
